Lestonnac has found that many patients are in dire need of simple, yet life-altering surgeries, but due to lack of insurance and high costs, these procedures often go untreated. In response, Lestonnac partnered with ALAPIO in 2015 to host a monthly surgery day at the Beverly Hills Surgery Center. With ongoing support from Rika & Manu Shah of the Sarva Mangal Family Trust, this effort grew into bi-monthly surgical missions, transforming lives — one operation at a time.

Then, in 2022, Edward Gerber proposed turning part of Lestonnac’s Orange, CA clinic into a permanent Surgery Center. Thanks to generous support from the Thompson Family Foundation, Sarva Mangal Trust, Shah Happiness Foundation, Drs. Ninna & Bharat Patel, and ALAPIO, this groundbreaking idea became a reality.

On May 1, 2025, Lestonnac celebrated the grand opening of the nation’s first free surgery center. It’s a testament to the power of vision, compassion, and unity — delivering free, high-quality surgical care to those who need it most.
