Lestonnac Free Clinic is committed to supporting our community and patients in all aspects of their well-being — including mental health.
At Lestonnac Free Clinic, we take a holistic and collaborative approach to patient care — encompassing general medicine, specialty care, and mental health services. Our dedicated staff and healthcare providers work closely together to ensure each patient receives comprehensive, compassionate support tailored to their needs.
One key way we deliver mental health services is through the involvement of Marriage and Family Therapy Trainees, Associates, and Licensed Professionals (AMFT, LMFT), who bring valuable expertise and care to our patients.
As a community clinic serving low-income and uninsured individuals, many of our patients are accessing mental health services for the first time. Working with Lestonnac patients requires patience, compassion, cultural sensitivity, and a deep understanding of the unique challenges they face. Mental Health During the Pandemic offers insight into the struggles experienced by many of our patients — and highlights the powerful difference you can make by volunteering with our Behavioral Health Program.
In 2024, 152 patients received behavioral health services through 430 visits.
